We offer diameters as small as .0005’’ (12.5µ), and we make tooling to any size within .0001’’. Tolerance on our drills is +.0000’’, -.0001’’. Tooling larger than .001’’ diameter is typically made with a flute length that is 7 times the diameter of the drill. (In some instances, we can offer tooling with longer length to diameter ratios.) We make tooling from either carbide or high speed steel.
