Femtosecond laser machining is the solution for HAZ-free (heat-affected zone) micro hole drilling, that produces both round and shaped holes that are burr free in a fast, efficient manner. National Jet Company can micro drill various materials including but not limited to: Stainless steel, steel, glass, brass, copper, ceramic, silicon chips, rubies, diamonds, and precision metals.
Our laser department drills holes as small as .0016” diameter with precision of ±1 micron (±0.000039”) through most material.
